Here is our movie poster for this year’s fifth grade claymation movie “The Girl Who Fell Into Her Desk”! We can’t wait to show you all the amazing work our fifth graders have been doing. Premiere is June 1st at 6 pm at Roosevelt Middle School for fifth graders and their families. There will be a school-wide premiere at Sageville School on June 2.
Dear Sageville 5th Grade Families,
We are excited to announce that our 5th grade movie THE GIRL WHO FELL INTO HER DESK (a claymation animated movie!) will premiere on June 1st at 6:00 pm at Roosevelt Middle School in the auditorium. Due to Covid-19, this event will be strictly limited to only fifth graders and their families. Students will be receiving wrist bands shortly before the event (number is still undetermined but will likely be 4) and only people with those wrist bands will be admitted, as per school regulations. We would ask people sit a safe distance apart from others. The event will run approx 6:00-7:30 p.m. Later in the week, we will show the movie for other grade level students to watch. Sageville News Network Video for March 2021
Our 2019 Sageville movie “The Time Capsule” will be featured as part of the Julien Dubuque Film Festival on Saturday, April 24th at 4:00 pm at Creative Adventure Lab (210 Jones St). The movie will be shown and there will be a Q&A. The festival organizers are asking us how many Sageville students/families will be attending. Tickets are required and can be purchased here:
Sageville School’s 2021-2022 Preschool class is now full. There will be no more registrations accepted for next school year.

Sageville will celebrate Dr. Seuss all week long March 1-5 with Read Across America Week! Check out the fun activities:
Monday- Dress as your favorite Seuss character
Tuesday- Wear crazy socks
Wednesday- Wear animal prints
Thursday- Wear your favorite college, university or souvenir t-shirt
Friday- Wear PJs to school
